Paul Jennings's first and most amazing published book was Unreal! in 1985. Since then, readers all around the world have never been bored and can't get enough of his books.
Paul Jennings has published over one hundred books and has been claimed as the 'favourite author' over forty times by children in Australia, successfully winning every children's choice award. The top rating TV series Round the Twist and Driven Crazy are based on a selection of his enormously popular short-story collections such as Unseen! which was awarded the 1999 Queensland Premier's Literary Award for Best Children's Book. In 1995 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for services to children's literature and was awarded the prestigious Dromkeen Medal in 2001. Paul has sold more than 8 million books worldwide.
Captain W.E Johns and Paul Jennings were in the war together and they both survived in the plane together in world war 1 & 2.
Paul published over 100 books!! He was inspired by Biggles, the Flying airman, his favorite film was The Yearling and grew up to have 6 children.
If Paul wasn't a writer, he would be an actor.
